WOMAN PLANS TO REPLACE CAR, BUY HOME AFTER SCRATCH-OFF WIN

A Brookville woman is replacing her 20-year-old car after winning a top prize of $200,000 on a Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off.

Theresa McQueen bought a $5 20X The Cash Scratch-off on her way into work.

“I couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” she said while claiming her prize.

She took a photo of the ticket and sent it to her adult daughter, saying, “Tell me I’m not seeing things.”

Theresa bought the winning ticket at Pavey’s in Laurel. In addition to replacing her car, she plans to buy a house.
