Lou Knoble is a numbers guy. In the morning, he wakes up, walks the dog, picks up the newspaper and compares the lottery numbers in the newspaper to his numbers.
One of these mornings, he checked and realized he won $150,000 on Powerball.
Lou picks his own numbers, basing his selection on any number of factors, including the ages of his siblings. In the May 12, 2018 Powerball drawing he matched 4 numbers and the Powerball. While that’s normally a $50,000 prize, Lou chose to add Power Play to his ticket, which multiplied his winnings three times.
He bought the winning ticket at Belmont Beverage in Fort Wayne.
Lou and his wife never took a honeymoon, so the couple plans to go somewhere special with the winnings.
