A Lebanon woman plans to save money after winning $50,000 on a Powerball ticket.
Edie Walters matched 4 numbers and the Powerball in the May 16, 2018 drawing. She initially thought she won $10 and later realized she won $50,000.
“It’s still freaking me out,” she said while claiming her prize at Hoosier Lottery headquarters in Indianapolis.
Edie claimed with an adult sibling and her father. She comes from a big family and used to play lottery with her late mother.
Edie said the money came at a useful time in her life. She bought the winning ticket at Speedway, 1335 S. Lebanon St., Lebanon.
