Indy Fuel emcee claims $25,000 top prize on Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off
On Friday, April 9, Scott McIlrath claimed a $25,000 top prize on the $20 $25,000 Deluxe Cash Scratch-off. The winning Scratch-off was purchased at McClure Oil #65 on 216th St. in Cicero.

Scott is the emcee for the Indy Fuel. After a home game on April 7, he decided to celebrate the win on the way home by purchasing some Scratch-offs. Since it debuted last December, his game of choice has been the $20 $25,000 Deluxe Cash. Once he got home, Scott wanted to play his tickets right away.

“After scratching the ticket, I couldn’t believe what I saw,” Scott recalled. “I’ve won a lot of smaller prizes playing this Scratch-off, but never could have imagined that I would win the top prize.”

Even though he noticed his win right away, he made sure to verify the result on the Hoosier Lottery^® app. Scott was quick to share the good news with his daughter, “She was really excited for me and jokingly asked, where’s my cut?”

Scott is excited to use the money to paint his house and give his daughter some spending money while she is away at school.
