Hoosier from Beech Grove wins a $25,000 top prize on Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off

On Monday, April 12, Rozell Collins from Beech Grove claimed a $25,000 top prize on the $20 $25,000 Deluxe Cash Scratch-off. The winning Scratch-off was purchased at a Speedway on Churchman Avenue.

Although he is usually a $10 Scratch-off player, Rozell decided to change it up and buy a $20 and a $50 Scratch-off. After playing, he called out to his family, “Hey, look! I really have a winner!”

As soon as he left the store, he called his significant other to tell her the good news. “It’s funny, she was just bragging about winning $500 on a pull tab game. I guess I now have something to one-up her with,” he said.

When asked about his plans with the money, he is excited to take a trip to New Mexico to repay a minister that helped him many years ago and donate the remaining amount to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
