Darryl Travis is an avid lottery player and especially enjoys playing Draw games. Although he lives in Chicago, the retiree travels to Indiana somewhat regularly. On a recent trip, he was in Hammond and purchased a few Powerball® tickets, adding the Power Play® to each ticket.

After the drawing, Darryl checked his numbers and was surprised to see he matched four out of five white balls and the Powerball. Noticing that the Power Play® for that drawing was 4X, he was overjoyed to realize he won $200,000!

He immediately called his wife and said, “I got good news!”

Darryl’s wife was in total disbelief and told him to “scan that ticket immediately” just to make sure it was truly a winner. Once Darryl had confirmed the win, he called his daughter, and she was very happy for him.

Darryl plans to share some of his prize money with his daughter and his local church. He is also planning a trip to Atlanta to visit family and to celebrate his big win.
