Routine stop leads to $25,000 win
Nathaniel Eldridge won a $25,000 top prize on the $20 $25,000 Deluxe Cash Scratch-off. The winning Scratch-off was purchased at Sunoco Food Mart.
What began as a routine, before-work trip to Sunoco took quite the turn for this Hoosier. “Every once in a while, I pick up my lunch and some Scratch-offs before work,” said Nathaniel. “I’m really happy I did that day!”
“Recently, the $25,000 Deluxe Cash ticket has been one of my favorites,” Nathaniel said. “I’ve won a few bucks on that Scratch-off so I decided to buy it again. After I scratched the ticket, I wasn’t sure if I had won,” he recalled. “I saw a money bag symbol and it looked like it said $25,000!”
After he finished scratching, it confirmed his win! “I had to call my wife right away,” Nathaniel said. “She didn’t believe me.”
Nathaniel is excited to use the money to buy a new car for his wife and finish a home addition he started last year.
