Muncie truck driver wins big on Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off 

On Thursday, March 18, Greg Norton, Muncie, claimed a $50,000 top prize on a $30 Extreme Cash Scratch-off. 

Ever since the game launched last June 2020, Greg Norton had been a huge fan of the $30 Extreme Cash Scratch-off. When he stopped to fill up his gas tank at the Village Pantry off of Tillotson in Muncie, Greg decided to buy a couple of the Scratch-offs in the convenience store.

After scratching the “Scratch to Cash” part of the ticket, he scanned the Scratch-off at the kiosk and was greeted with the message “Payment exceeds retailer payout. See lottery office.”  

“Wow!” Greg thought to himself. He began to play the Scratch-off and he discovered a money bag symbol. “I saw the big [number] 5 and I told my girlfriend it was probably $500. Then I scratched and revealed a 0 followed by a comma,” Greg recalled. “Man, I knew I just won 50 GRAND!” 

Greg is excited to use the money to work on his house and put a down payment on a new truck.
