New Albany Hoosier cashes in big on $5 Scratch-off
Marvin Hall, New Albany, claimed a $100,000 top prize on the $5 Joker’s Wild Scratch-off. The winning Scratch-off was purchased at Circle K #86 in New Albany.

After making his daily trip to the Circle K on State St., Marvin purchased a few of his favorite Scratch-offs, one of which was the $5 Joker’s Wild.

Once he got back to his van, he started to play some of the Scratch-offs, but gave his girlfriend the $5 Joker’s Wild ticket. As they were playing, his girlfriend got quiet and handed him the Scratch-off. “She told me to check the Scratch-off and lo and behold it was a $100,000 winner!” Marvin said. “I was so shocked and excited that I stopped playing my Scratch-off and didn’t even bother to play the $20 Scratch-offs that I bought.”

As of now, Marvin is planning to pay off their van, explore the idea of buying a new vehicle, and put some of the money away in the bank.
