Merrillville resident Richard W. couldn’t believe it when he won the top prize on a $10 Wild Multiplier. He usually buys a couple Scratch-offs when he stops to get gas or pick up lunch.

After purchasing a $10 Wild Multiplier, Richard scratched it while still in the store and was shocked to see he won the top prize of $250,000!

“At first, I thought I won $2,500 and was pretty excited,” said Richard. But when he looked at the ticket a little more closely, he saw it was $250,000. “I got so nervous,” he said.

When he got home, his wife was taking a nap, but as soon as she heard how much her husband had won, “she sat right up and was completely awake,” said Richard.

Richard plans to use his winnings to pay a few bills and will save the rest.
