Long-time Bus Driver Wins Top Prize on Scratch-off

Louise Whitfield wasted no time claiming her Hoosier Lottery winnings. The Indianapolis resident purchased a $20 Power 20s Scratch-off on a Friday morning and could not believe her eyes when she saw the $20,000 top prize unveiled on the ticket. Within hours, Louise was at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office in downtown Indianapolis to claim her prize money.

Louise had a 30-year career as an IndyGo bus driver and now works as a bus driver for Indianapolis Public Schools.

As she considers the winnings, she feels blessed and looks forward to being able to help out her family.
