Joseph K, a retired warehouse worker from northeastern Illinois won a $50,000 top prize from the $30 Extreme Cash Scratch-off. Joseph began his morning routine of waking up early, going to the convenience store to grab his morning paper and Scratch-offs and finishing the trip off by finding a place to eat breakfast. Joseph found himself at a Speedway in Munster where he bought his usual and then drove to a nearby McDonalds to grab his breakfast. Once he got home, he sat down and started to play his Scratch-off.

As he was playing the game, he couldn’t believe what was happening! After he finished, he was thinking to himself, “Is this for real? Is my mind playing tricks on me?” To his surprise, he had just won a $50,000 top prize on his Scratch-off. The first person Joseph told about his win was his nephew; he was equally shocked! “I never thought I would know someone who won something like this!” his nephew exclaimed. Joseph has not told many people, but the few he has told have all been shocked and happy for him. As of now, Joseph does not have any immediate plans for the money, so he plans on putting the money in the bank in order to save it for a rainy day.
