Ashley White from Indianapolis enjoys playing crossword Scratch-offs and usually plays the new tickets as they come out. When asked what she enjoys about playing the Hoosier Lottery, Ashley shared, “It was always a big thing for my great grandma. She loved playing Scratch-offs. She passed away four years ago, and when she passed, I decided to play in her honor.” On the day she bought her winning $3 Candy Cane Crossword Scratch-off, she had $15 in winning tickets, and decided to buy more tickets with her prize money. When she got home, she scratched her tickets and searched for the letters. She double-checked her ticket and scanned it on the Hoosier Lottery app to confirm she had a top prize-winning ticket. The first person Ashley told was her roommate, and they celebrated her win together. Though she has not told many people, everyone she told has been positive and encouraging about her win.
