EVANSVILLE MAN WINS $50,000 ON POWERBALL

An Evansville man who has been playing Powerball for 22 years won $50,000 on the game.

Jon Fulmer said he likes trying to win a giant jackpot, which is why he plays Powerball.

“I figure, what the heck? Go for the long shot and the big money,” he said.

Jon and his wife, Shirley, are semi-retired. They plan to pay off a car and put the rest of the prize money toward their retirement.
