Heather Dunnuck from Peru was very happy to claim her $50,000 top prize winnings from a $3 Combo Play Scratch-off.
She was getting an oil change when she decided to purchase the ticket. Heather realized she won something, but took it back to the cashier to have it scanned.
“I knew I won something when I saw the cashier’s eyes get big, but I tried not to get excited,” she said.
She purchased the ticket from Mexico Marathon, 3963 N. Mexico Road, Mexico, Indiana.
Heather plans on paying off student loans.
