In Boyce “Dean” Freese’s previous career as a paramedic, his job took him all over central Indiana. For a while, he was assigned to the set of the “Hoosier Millionaire” show tapings just in case there was a medical emergency on set (thankfully, there were none).

Dean has always been a big fan of the TV show “Jeopardy!” and was excited to play the new $2 Jeopardy! Scratch-off from the Hoosier Lottery. While still in the Walmart parking lot, he scratched his ticket. It didn’t take him long to realize that he’d won the $10,000 top prize!

Dean plans to put the prize money in the bank for now, although he is considering buying a motorcycle to start riding again.
