SLEEPY SCRATCH-OFF WINNER HAD TO LOOK TWICE

Drew Drennan of Poland, Indiana said his knees shook and he was full of shock when he realized he won $200,000 on a Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off.

Drew bought a $5 20X The Cash Scratch-off while grocery shopping on St. Patrick’s Day. He took it home and scratched it in his car in the driveway. He was so tired from insufficient sleep the night before that he didn’t believe what he saw.

He ran into the house, asking his brother-in-law, “Am I delusional here?” while showing him the ticket. His brother-in-law replied, “No! I think that’s a winner!”

Drew scanned the ticket with the Hoosier Lottery mobile app to verify the win.

Drew already had a vacation planned that he said he could splurge a little more on after winning $200,000. Otherwise, he planned to remain frugal and save the prize money.
