Sullivan Hoosier unknowingly claims top prize on Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off
On Friday, March 26, David Mason, Sullivan, claimed a $50,000 top prize on the $3 Wild Cherry Crossword Tripler. The winning Scratch-off was purchased at Goodman’s on Section St. in Sullivan.

While taking his dog on a walk, David decided to head to Goodman’s to cash in a Scratch-off that he had bought a few days prior. While he was there, the $3 Wild Cherry Crossword Tripler caught his eye and he decided to buy the ticket with some of his winnings.

As he finished scratching, he was so happy that he uncovered 9 words. “I was happy about the win, but I kept searching and searching for the tenth word. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find it.” Once he arrived at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment office, he was greeted by a representative who promptly congratulated him on his $50,000 win! “I knew it!” David exclaimed. “My gut told me that there was a tenth word, and I’m really happy it was there.”

Because he had just found out about the win, David was unsure about his plans with the prize money, simply remaining excited for his future opportunities.
