Double Play is an add-on game to the Powerball game. For an additional $1 per play, players have an additional chance to match their numbers to the Double Play numbers for a chance to prizes up to $10,000,000 cash. Double Play is similar to our Hoosier Lotto +PLUS add-on and is a another chance for players to win with their numbers.
The Double Play drawing is held after every Powerball drawing on Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.
Power Play multiplies non-jackpot prizes. By adding Power Play for $1 per ticket, a multiplier of 2X, 3X, 4X, 5X (or 10X when the jackpot is $150 million or less) is randomly selected on your ticket.
Double Play is an additional drawing following the Powerball drawing. Players have an additional chance to match their numbers to the Double Play numbers for a chance to win a top cash prize of $10,000,000 or other prizes.

No. Players play the same set of numbers in the Powerball and Double Play drawing.
Yes. Powerball tickets that include the Double Play add-on feature are eligible to win prizes in both the Powerball drawing and Double Play drawing.
No, the Power Play® add-on feature only applies to non-jackpot prizes won in the Powerball drawing.
Yes, a Powerball ticket can include both add-on features for a total price of $4 per play. Players may also elect to purchase one or none of the add-on features:

The first drum of balls from which the first five numbers are drawn are black. The second drum of balls from which the Double Play Powerball is drawn will be red.
The Double Play drawing has the same odds as the Powerball drawing since the two pools of numbers from which the winning numbers are drawn are the same (5/69 + 1/26).
