As you think of your gifts this year, remember, lottery games should be gifted responsibly, only to adults 18 and older.

This year, we’re inviting all Hoosiers to make our Gift Responsibly Pledge. This is a new initiative that encourages players to commit to gifting lottery products only to adults 18 and older, not just during the holidays but all year long.

By making the pledge, you’ll join fellow Hoosiers in supporting positive play habits and helping to prevent youth gambling. As a thank you, we’re offering two special promotions tied to the pledge:

• On November 3rd: The first 500 myLOTTERY members who make the pledge on the Hoosier Lottery app will receive a $1 Scratch-off coupon.
• Starting November 4th: The first 1,000 myLOTTERY members who complete all six “Collect the Cheer” tasks, including making the pledge, will also receive a $1 Scratch-off coupon.

Our commitment to responsible gifting extends beyond the pledge. The Hoosier Lottery is proud to participate at the highest level in the National Council on Problem Gambling’s (NCPG) Gift Responsibly Campaign as a Level 3 Lottery Participant. This commitment reflects our ongoing promise to education, awareness, and community partnership across Indiana. Building on these values, we’re sharing our message in a variety of ways this holiday season.

Throughout the holiday season, you’ll see our Gift Responsibly logo featured across all Hoosier Lottery Holiday marketing. Our familiar reminder “To: Adults From: Adults” connects the joy of giving with the importance of keeping play safe and age-appropriate. These efforts support our broader mission to keep lottery play enjoyable and responsible for everyone.
