Long-time player wins top prize on new Scorching 7s Scratch-off

Sherrill P. from Kokomo wasted no time trying the newest $10 Scratch-off, Scorching 7s, that launched in February. She likes playing number-themed Scratch-offs, so she picked up a Hot 7s ticket while out with her grandson, Brian. After she scratched the ticket, she showed him the revealed numbers and said she thought she had won. Brian scanned the ticket with his Hoosier Lottery App and confirmed that she had in fact won one of the $277,000 top prizes!

On the top of Sherrill’s list for how she plans to spend her winnings is paying off and renovating her home. She’s eyeing some home improvements such as a new HVAC system and carpeting. Sherrill takes great pride in keeping her home up and is excited to see her home shine with the improvements.
