Matthew Emery of Lafayette likes to play Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs because of the excitement and fun of possibly winning money. One afternoon when he was on his way home from his job in labor relations, Matthew stopped and bought a $20 Red Hot Millions Scratch-off.

While still in the store, he scratched the ticket and was surprised to see he won $10,000. Matthew said, “I was elated and started high-fiving everyone in the store!”

Matthew then texted his brother, best friend and boss a picture of the winning ticket. They were all very excited for him.

Matthew plans to use his winnings to pay bills and take a trip to Michigan.
