What started as a routine grocery run for Spencer resident Rhonda Hodge turned into an exciting $10,000 win. Rhonda enjoys playing Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs and typically purchases them when she grocery shops. On a recent trip to the store, she purchased one $10 Stacks of Cash and waited until she was in her car to scratch it.

“Oh, no! It can’t be!” Rhonda exclaimed upon seeing that she matched one of the winning numbers to win the $10,000 top prize. Eager to make sure she was reading the ticket correctly, she called her aunt to tell her, “I’m at the store. I’m coming to you.”

At her aunt’s house, the two women examined the ticket and were both shocked to see Rhonda really had won the top prize!

Rhonda plans to use her winnings to take a vacation and will put the rest in savings.
