Newlywed Dusty Myrick has been a Hoosier since moving to Indiana in 2013. The Gas City resident works in auto manufacturing and likes to purchase Hoosier Lottery tickets as something fun to take home and enjoy. 

Dusty particularly likes to play crosswords because they're a bit of a brain teaser and are entertaining to play. Dusty purchased a $5 Wild Cherry Crossword 5X on his way home from work. After he had finished scratching the ticket at home, Dusty realized he won $100,000! Elated, he showed his wife, who instructed him to go next door to the gas station and have them scan the ticket to be sure. 

After Dusty returned with confirmation of his win, his wife simply said, "Let's get in the car and go claim that prize!"

Dusty plans to pay bills and begin house hunting with the prize money.
