When a Greenfield woman decided to run errands, she had no idea how exciting her day would be.

After a bit of shopping, she stopped to get gas and purchase a few Mega Millions® tickets. While standing in line, the purple $50 Luxe Millions ticket caught her eye. She purchased one, scratched its QR code and then scanned it on the Hoosier Lottery’s self-service machine. When a message displayed stating the prize was too large to cash at a retailer, she figured she probably won $1,000.

Once she was back in her car, she finished scratching the ticket. “I saw ‘$2,000’ and then another one, and another one, and another one, and another one. I couldn’t believe it!” she said. She had just won $10,000!

She plans to put her winnings in her daughter’s college fund.
