Shawn Emerson works as an electrician and is kept busy by his four children and three grandchildren. Shawn rarely plays the Hoosier Lottery but was intrigued by the historic Powerball® jackpot and decided to play.

Shawn discovered that he won by asking Google what the winning Powerball numbers were. When Shawn and his wife noticed that he matched several numbers, they again turned to the Internet to find out how much they won. They were very surprised to find out they had won $50,000!

Shawn and his wife plan to use the prize money to celebrate their 19-year wedding anniversary and purchase Christmas presents for their family. The remainder of the prize will go toward paying bills.
