Laurie Funkhouser oversees a marketing team for an RV manufacturer in Goshen. Laurie and her team often pool their money together to purchase Draw game tickets when there is a large jackpot, so the record-setting Powerball® jackpot caught their eye.

Laurie purchased a Powerball ticket for the group and texted a picture of the ticket to the group afterwards. Shortly after the drawing, late Saturday evening, Jill, one of the pool participants, texted the group that she thought they had won $50,000. Though late, one-by-one each of the seven participants began to chime in about their win and share their excitement!

Laurie plans to use her portion of the prize money during her trip with her son to the Bahamas. Jill will be turning 50 years old soon and plans to use her portion of the prize money to celebrate the milestone with a spa retreat day.
