Trucker claims Indiana is favorite place to play

Lawrence Jackson Jr. claimed a $25,000 prize playing the $30 Mega Bucks Scratch-off. The winning ticket was purchased at the Pilot Truck Stop on Ripley St. in Lake Station.

As someone that travels all around the Midwest, Lawrence is no stranger to seeing all the different Scratch-offs Indiana and surrounding states have to offer. “Although I play and win sometimes in Illinois, I always love playing the Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs,” he said. “Whenever my route takes me through this state, I always make sure to buy some at whichever station I stop at.” 

Lawrence has not told many people about the win, but everyone he has told has been shocked and happy for him. Lawrence plans to use the prize money for his family’s future.
