When Kelly Richard realized he won $50,000 on Powerball, he woke up his wife, Kim, to ask how much she loves him.
“What did you do?” she asked, half awake.
Once she realized he woke her for good news, all was forgiven.
Kelly bought a Powerball ticket at Lassus in Columbia City. He said he typically plays when the Powerball jackpot is high. His ticket in the Oct. 27, 2018 drawing matched 4 of 5 numbers and the Powerball to win $50,000.
The factory supervisor said some of the prize money would go toward some home remodeling, but most will go into savings.
