A couple times a week, Madison McIntyre stops by the Cataract Lake Grocery Store to pick up a few Draw game tickets and Scratch-offs. On his way to his dad’s house to watch the Colts pre-season game, Madison picked up a few lottery tickets, including a $10 $300,000 JUMBO CASH Scratch-off.

While his fiancée and dad watched the game, Madison began scratching his tickets. When he scratched his $300,000 JUMBO CASH Scratch-off, he did not think he had won. Madison did not realize that he had missed the bonus area. Luckily, he scans all his tickets using the Hoosier Lottery app to make sure he does not miss anything. When he scanned the ticket, $300,000 appeared. He quietly set the ticket aside, scanned the rest of the tickets and came back to it. Again, the app revealed that his ticket was a $300,000 top prize winner.

“I was in a daze,” Madison said. “I didn’t know what they were talking about or what was going on in the game.” Madison walked over to his fiancée and said, “we’re not going to work on Monday,” before showing her the winning ticket. The couple took the next day off work to celebrate their win!

Madison plans to pay off vehicles with the prize money. He also plans to upgrade his porch and may install a pool.
