James from Logansport is spending as much time as he can outdoors now that he’s retired. He can be found fishing, hunting, camping and going on daily walks.  

When James takes a moment to be indoors, he slows down and plays a crossword-themed Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off. “I like it because it takes longer,” James said. 

James was at home scratching a $5 Neon 9s Crossword ticket when he began to realize he had completed several words. “At first, I saw I had seven words,” he said. “But then it was eight, then nine, and oh, man, all 10!”

To be sure, James took his ticket to the closest Hoosier Lottery retailer to scan and confirm his big win. 

Thrilled with the win, James plans to use the prize money to go trout fishing in South Dakota and save the rest.
