During a night out with a friend, Ryan Kieffer from Evansville purchased a $5 $150,000 JUMBO CASH Scratch-off. He partially scratched the ticket but did not know if he had won or not, so he put the ticket in his pocket and forgot about it. Two days later, he took his ticket out and decided to scan it on the Hoosier Lottery app before throwing it away.

“When I saw that I won $150,000, it blew my mind,” Ryan said.

Ryan plans to purchase a work truck, a vehicle for his wife and invest his prize money.
