SOUTH BEND WINNER SAVING MONEY FOR RAINY DAY

A South Bend man is putting most of his Scratch-off winnings in a savings account for a rainy day.

Dennis Rippey won $24,000 on a $25 Gold Bullion Scratch-off he purchased at South Side Grocery in South Bend.

Dennis said some of the money would go toward bills, but the rest would be saved for a rainy day.
