Terry McCormick of Brownsburg is retired and enjoys playing Hoosier Lottery games as a hobby. He likes to play both Scratch-offs and Draw games and recently won $500 on a Scratch-off.

Terry had purchased a couple of Powerball® tickets and added the Power Play® to them. He pulled them out after the drawing to see if he won, but when Terry scanned the first one of the tickets, he got a message saying he needed to contact the Lottery. Not sure what that meant, Terry went back to the Speedway where he purchased the tickets and asked the clerk to scan his ticket. When the clerk confirmed that it was a winner, Terry was elated.

He had matched four of the five white balls and the Powerball. Normally, that would mean Terry won $50,000, but that drawing’s Power Play was 3X, so Terry won $150,000!

Terry couldn’t wait to share his good news and called his wife. She was in total disbelief when Terry told her he just won $150,000!

Terry plans on using the prize money for some home renovations.
