When Deborah Guzman-Stoeffler chose a new paint color for her bathroom, she had no idea just how appropriate it would turn out to be. Deborah had looked through countless paint samples to find the perfect shade of green for her bathroom update. She finally found the one she wanted and was amused to see the color was called “Lottery Winnings.”

A few weeks after repainting her bathroom, the Wisconsin resident was attending a birthday celebration for her aunt in Indiana and stopped to purchase some Scratch-offs to include with her gift. After selecting a couple of Scratch-offs for her aunt, Deborah purchased a Powerball® ticket for herself.

Shortly after the drawing, she checked the winning numbers and was shocked to see she matched four white balls and the Powerball. She immediately called her sister to share the news but only got voicemail.

Just before 7 a.m. the next morning, her sister saw she had a voicemail message from Deborah and listened to it: “Beth! Are you awake?? Beth! Call me!”

Wondering what could be going on, Beth called Deborah and was elated to find out the urgent news was very happy news. Deborah had just won $100,000 playing Powerball!

Deborah plans to use her winnings to make a few more updates to her house and to take a vacation, possibly to Spain.
