Sherry Wampler spends most of her time visiting her daughter and friends in Terre Haute. She was getting a ride home after visiting one of her friends when Sherry suggested they stop to pick up a few $2 Bingo Frenzy Scratch-offs. Sherry loves to play bingo, both the traditional game and the lottery version.

Sherry bought her friend a few tickets and some for herself. Later at home, Sherry scratched her tickets. Initially, she saw “$20…” and assumed she’d won $20, which was exciting enough for Sherry to call her friend and send her a picture of the win. Her friend said, “Look again, you won $20,000!”

After Sherry’s boyfriend scanned the ticket with the Hoosier Lottery app, they were certain Sherry had won the $20,000 top prize!

Sherry plans to buy some new clothes and Christmas presents with the prize money.
