Connersville Hoosier wins big playing Fast Play
Andrew Lakes, Connersville, claimed a $30,000 top prize on the $10 Mega Money Fast Play game. The winning Fast Play ticket was purchased at the Country Mark gas station on Main Street in Liberty.

“I usually stick to playing the $10 Indiana Cash Blowout Scratch-off, but I decided I wanted to change things up,” Andrew said. “I wanted to try the new $20 Fast Play game on my lunch break, so I walked to a nearby gas stations to buy it.”

After he finished playing, Andrew realized he won $100 on the new Fast Play game. He decided to use some of the winnings to buy three $10 Mega Money Fast Play games. He decided to take all three back to work with him and play them at his desk.  

After he started to play, Andrew immediately noticed that he had matched 4 numbers. He then announced to his office, “Guys I think I’m going to win. I’m freaking out!” All of his coworkers started to make their way over to Andrew’s desk. As soon as he realized that he had matched all the numbers, Andrew nervously handed the game to one of his coworkers to check the game. “I have to be looking at this wrong,” he told them. His coworker validated what he was seeing – Andrew had just won the $30,000 top prize on the $10 Mega Money Fast Play game.  

As soon as he was able to collect himself, he called his wife to tell her the good news. “I like to play jokes on my wife and she almost hung up on me the second I told her about the win,” he said. “She didn’t believe me until I showed her the ticket in person.”

Andrew plans to treat his wife to something special with the prize money as they are soon celebrating their wedding anniversary.
