When “What if?” turns into reality
Amy, Noblesville, Ind., is an avid Hoosier Lottery draw game player and a recent $50,000 Powerball^® winner. The winning ticket was purchased at the Meijer on Mercantile Blvd. in Noblesville. After she purchased her five Quick Picks for Wednesday, January 20 draw, Amy began to think about what she would do with the money if she won: “What would I do if we won? I see the billboards on the side of the road and I immediately start making plans with the money!”

Amy decided to check the numbers on her ticket before she left for work the morning after the draw. “Surely I’m not reading this right…,” she thought to herself while looking at her ticket. She matched all but one number! “I was in shock and couldn’t believe it,” recalls Amy.

When Amy told her husband they had won, he thought she was playing a joke on him and didn’t believe it until he saw the ticket himself. She has not told many people about her win outside of her family and is very excited about her future opportunities. “I’ve always wanted to open up my own business and this will help me speed up that process!”
