James Slaven was disappointed when the Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off he typically buys was sold out, but he was ecstatic after choosing another game and scratching off a $10,000 win.

James, a 23-year-old from Muncie, went into his local gas station to buy a Scratch-off but had to make a split decision when the one he normally buys was sold out. James chose the shiny $10 Chrome Scratch-off and headed home.

After scratching it, he realized his largest Scratch-off win had just occurred. He couldn’t believe his win and immediately told his family.

James plans to celebrate his win by going out for a nice dinner with his family.
