Most days you can find Julia Bryant at the bar she and her husband own. On the Rox is a popular spot in Seymour for good food and live music, and running it keeps the couple pretty busy.

Julia’s husband regularly plays Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs and occasionally buys a ticket or two for Julia. After her husband left to run errands one day, Julia sat down to scratch a $50 Luxe Millions ticket he had given her. She couldn’t believe it when it revealed a $20,000 prize!

“I had to look at it three times,” she recalled. “It didn’t seem real.”

She called her husband to share the good news, and he yelled “Woo hoo!” upon hearing of her win.

The couple has already booked a cruise, so Julia plans to use her winnings as extra spending money on their vacation.
