Thomas and Donna Striby are both retired and enjoy their morning ritual together—Thomas with his cup of coffee and a Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off and Donna noshing her protein bar. This is how they spend most of their mornings together. They then go about their days as normal—until one morning.

“Uh, oh,” Thomas stammered after playing his $5 5X the Money Scratch-off. He then told Donna that he had won the $100,000 top prize!

“I thought he was joking with me,” Donna said about her reaction to the news.

Plans for the day changed as the couple made a trip from their home in Greenwood to the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment Office in Indianapolis to claim their prize.

Thomas and Donna plan to share their winnings with their friends and family.
