RULES AND PROCEDURES GOVERNING THE HOOSIER LOTTERY GALACTIC TAKEOVER

The State Lottery Commission of Indiana (“Lottery” or “Hoosier Lottery”), hereby promulgates these rules and procedures (“Official Rules”) governing the Hoosier Lottery Galactic Takeover (“Promotion”), authorized under 65 IAC 1-7-1 and 65 IAC 1-7-4. This Promotion is open to players who become eligible for participation by complying with these rules and procedures.

A. PURPOSE

The Promotion will be held to promote the Hoosier Lottery’s SPACE INVADERS™ Scratch-off and Fast Play games.

B. PROMOTION PERIOD

Promotion period will begin on or about 12:00 AM (ET) on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, and the Promotion entry deadline will be at 11:59 PM (ET) on Monday, June 29, 2026.

C. PROMOTION & PRIZE DESCRIPTIONS

1. The Promotion will be conducted in accordance with all applicable statutes, regulations, and rules and will occur at the following times for the listed Prizes:

*Gift card e-certificate to be provided by Alchemy 3. Winner will receive $120 credit to purchase gift card of their choosing.

D. ELIGIBILITY

1. This Promotion is open to participants who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and an Indiana resident. For Hoosier Lottery app and website entries, participant must be a myLOTTERY member or create a myLOTTERY account. Participants at retail may enter without a myLOTTERY account, but must have a valid email address.
2. No purchase necessary to enter.
3. State Lottery Commission of Indiana members, officers, and employees, and any relative(s) (spouse, parents, siblings and children) and/or person(s) residing in the same household of such member, officer, or employee are not eligible to participate in this Promotion. This restriction applies mutatis mutandis to the Lottery’s Integrated Service Provider, Brightstar Lottery Indiana LLC, (“Brightstar”). 
4. Members, directors, officers, or employees of a major procurement vendor of the Lottery and/or Brightstar, and any relative(s) (spouse, parents, siblings, and children) and/or person(s) residing in the same household of such persons are not eligible to participate in this Promotion.

E. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

1. Hoosier Lottery app and website: Players must have a myLOTTERY account and be logged into their myLOTTERY account when entering via either the Hoosier Lottery app or Hoosier Lottery website. 
   1. If an entrant does not have a myLOTTERY account, the entrant can sign up for a free account by selecting “CREATE AN ACCOUNT” on the Promotion’s web page or by visiting www.HoosierLottery.com/myLOTTERY to register and complete the myLOTTERY account sign up. 
   2. Players enter the Promotion by clicking or tapping the “invader” on the in-app or in-browser Galactic Takeover message.
      1. Each “invader” captured from the Hoosier Lottery app and website is one (1) entry. One (1) entry from the website and one (1) from the app for a total of two (2) entries combined.
      2. Players can only receive one (1) entry per entry method.
2. Select Hoosier Lottery retail locations: By scanning the QR code on Galactic Takeover signage at select Hoosier Lottery retailers, players will be prompted to enter their email address for one entry into the Promotion.
   1. One (1) entry per person
3. All entries submitted in the manner as described in these Official Rules will be eligible for an entry in this Promotion. Hand delivered, mailed in or duplicate entries will not be accepted for this Promotion and will be deemed invalid and destroyed.
4. There are three (3) total entries possible for this Promotion per person. One (1) entry from each entry method: website, app and retail.

F. ODDS OF WINNING

1. The odds of winning are dependent upon the total number of entries received.

G. DRAWING, WINNER NOTIFICATION AND CLAIMING OF PRIZE

1. Five (5) winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received through each entry method (Hoosier Lottery app, website and select retail locations) by using a random number generator from random.org under the supervision of a member of the Lottery Security team. 
2. One (1) prize per person. If an entry for the same participant is drawn as a winner or alternate more than once, the subsequent drawn entries will be immediately disqualified.
3. A total of eight (8) alternates will also be selected from random.org under the supervision of the Lottery Security team. Alternates will be matched to prizes in a descending order as winners are disqualified or decline the prize.
4. Prize winners will be notified in writing via email and phone call (if applicable) using the contact information provided in the winner’s entry. The prize winners must claim the prize within five (5) business days. After five (5) business days, if the winner fails to complete and return all requested forms and provide government-issued identification, the winner will automatically forfeit the prize and the next alternate will be contacted using the contact information provided in the winner’s entry. If all alternates are exhausted, the prize(s) shall be forfeited.
5. Upon timely presentation of winner information, the entry will be validated, and eligibility will be verified as in Section D (“Eligibility”).
6. Once winner verification and winner authorization are complete, prize will be provided to winner.

H. GENERAL RULES AND PROVISIONS

1. The rules and procedures set forth in these Official Rules shall govern this Promotion. These rules may be amended at any time by the Hoosier Lottery without advance notice.
2. The Lottery's Executive Director or her designee may, at any time, announce a suspension or termination of the Promotion, without advance notice and in the Executive Director's sole discretion, at which point no Prize shall be awarded. None of the Lottery, the Executive Director, Brightstar, or any employee thereof, shall be liable for such termination.
3. By participating in the Promotion each person agrees to comply with and abide by Indiana law, rules, and regulations as well as the terms and conditions of the Lottery website and all final decisions, policies, or procedures of the Lottery in relation to the conduct of this Promotion. Any dispute arising which relates to any aspect of this Promotion shall be governed by the laws of Indiana.
4. In the event of a dispute arising out of these Official Rules, the entrant’s remedy is limited to entry in another promotion with prizes of a similar value.
5. The Lottery, Brightstar, and their agents are not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations, theft or destruction, unauthorized access to or alterations of Promotion, failure to receive claim, winner, or other Promotion information for any reason whatsoever.
6. The Lottery is not responsible for issues with account accessibility or Promotion entries due to technical problems associated to software, hardware compatibility or internet access. 
7. By entering this Promotion, each entrant agrees to follow these Official Rules and to indemnify, hold harmless, and waive any claims against the Hoosier Lottery and any of the affiliates, associates, directors, officers, agents, representatives and assigns of the Hoosier Lottery arising directly or indirectly, out of, or in any way connected with, this Promotion or the prizes awarded in connection therewith.
