When they told Edith she would need to go to the Hoosier Lottery’s Prize Payment office to claim her prize, Edith was speechless. “I had no words. I was so stunned,” she said. Edith studied the ticket and saw that she won the game’s top prize of $50,000.
Her shock quickly turned to joy and excitement. When she told her sister and family, they were very happy for her.
Edith plans to use her winnings to pay some bills, help a couple of family members and get herself a car and her own place to live.
