He went to his local retailer, Low Bob’s, to cash his first win, and decided to buy two different $10 Scratch-offs. One of these was the $10 $10,000 Bonus Scratch-off. After he finished playing, he didn’t believe he won so he asked the clerk to scan his ticket. The scanner confirmed he won the top prize of $10,000. He was so excited, he started jumping and screaming.

Shane decided to surprise his wife at her work to share the good news. She thought he was playing a joke on her with a fake ticket, but he downloaded the Hoosier Lottery app and scanned his Scratch-off so she could see for herself.

Shane works at a local papermill and his wife works with the elderly at a community center. They plan on sharing a portion of their win with other folks at the community center.
