Indianapolis resident Anthony Bennett enjoys camping, fishing and playing Scratch-offs for fun. Most days, he stops at the Phillips 66 gas station that’s on his way to work at Frito Lay and buys a few Scratch-offs. One morning when he stopped, he bought just one $5 Money Money Money Scratch-off.
While he was pumping gas, Anthony scratched the ticket and it revealed that he won the top prize of $100,000. He was so excited that he stopped pumping gas and ran back into the store to scan the ticket. When the screen showed that the ticket was indeed a winner, Anthony was thrilled.
Instead of continuing on his way to work, Anthony called his boss to say he needed the day off to let the win sink in. He then headed straight home to tell his girlfriend the good news.
Anthony plans to use his winnings for a down payment on a house and a trip with his family.
