When the Mega Millions® jackpot rose to more than $750 million, Andrea decided to purchase a ticket.
Andrea fell asleep before the drawing, so the next morning she checked the winning numbers using the Hoosier Lottery app. It was then that she realized she had matched four out of five numbers and the Mega Ball. What Andrea did not realize was that the Megaplier she added to her ticket turned her $10,000 prize amount into $40,000. In fact, it was not until Andrea visited the Hoosier Lottery headquarters to claim her prize and saw the large photo-prop check that she learned she had won $40,000!
Andrea plans to pay bills and possibly take a family vacation with the prize money.
