A Plainfield man was in disbelief when he realized he won $50,000 on Powerball.
Matthew McClellan scanned his Powerball ticket with the free Hoosier Lottery app, and the app popped up a screen that said he won $50,000.
“I was like, ‘Oh my God! I cannot believe that,” Matthew said.
He took a screen shot of his phone’s screen and sent it to his wife.
Matthew, who works in logistics, has played Powerball twice a week for years, he said. He plans to use his prize money on house upgrades. The rest will go in the bank for everyday expenses.
