A Floyds Knobs man who enjoys playing Powerball and Mega Millions recently won $150,000 on Powerball.
Kevin McCoy, a service manager at a car dealership, added Power Play to his Powerball ticket, which ended up tripling the base prize of $50,000 for matching 4 of 5 numbers and the Powerball.
“Oh my God, I got four!” Kevin shouted from another room while checking his tickets. His wife heard his screams of excitement.
Kevin was still working out plans for the prize money, but his initial thoughts including paying off his house and planning a vacation.
Kevin purchased the winning ticket at Jay C, 601 S. Main St. in Salem. He won in the Feb. 21, 2018 drawing.
