A Kentucky man who has family in Evansville won $100,000 on a Hoosier Lottery Scratch-off.
Joe I. and his family enjoy visiting Evansville for shopping and to visit with family. When he’s in town, he plays Hoosier Lottery Scratch-offs.
He started playing $25 Jewel Jackpot, part of the Millionaire Series, because he liked that the minimum prize amount was $50. When he won, he got a whole lot more than $50.
“I wasn’t expecting it to be that,” he said of his $100,000 prize.
A retired health inspector, Joe said he would likely put his prize money in the bank while deciding what to do with it.
