Brandon Richards and Jason Barker are good friends and coworkers. In fact, Jason helped Brandon get a job at the HVAC company they work. Just as Jason finished scratching the ticket, Brandon walked out of the gas station, saw Jason’s face and knew they’d won a big prize. “Did we hit the million [dollars]?” he asked.
Jason and Brandon didn’t win the top prize, but they did win $10,000! Around the time they realized they won, Jason’s sister happened to pull into the gas station and learned of the big win. Brandon plans to buy a new bedroom set for his daughter and a few things for the house with his half of the prize money. Jason and his wife had booked a cruise the night before the win, so his half of the prize money will go toward spending money for their trip.
